Massage Therapy

At Northern Nevada Chiropractic, we offer complete care of the body and that includes massage therapy. Many of the conditions we treat, such as headaches, arthritis and fibromyalgia can greatly benefit from massage therapy in conjunction with chiropractic care. At NNC, we partner with Angelique Callegari Massage to offer chiropractic massage therapy to all our patients.

Massage and Chiropractic Treatment

Like chiropractic medicine, massage offers a drug-free, noninvasive and hands-on approach to helping the body heal itself. There are many forms of massage, but at AC Massage and NNC, the focus is on therapeutic, rehabilitating massage to help get patients out of pain, realigned and cleared of toxins.

According to the Mayo Clinic, there have been several studies of the benefits of massage that demonstrate it is an effective treatment for reducing stress, pain and muscle tension. Other symptoms massage can help alleviate are:

  • Stress and anxiety
  • Digestion
  • Myofascial pain syndrome
  • Headaches (tension and chronic migraine)
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Injury from trauma or sports-related
  • Joint pain
  • Strained or sprained muscles
