Digital Foot Scan to Diagnose the Cause of Pain

Your feet are the foundation of your body, and yet the critical role they play in your body’s health is often overlooked. Think of your body as a building, with your feet being the foundation. If there are cracks in the foundation, it effects the overall stability of the entire building.

Often when we see patients complaining of pain in the body, they do not mention their feet. However after further examination we are able to determine that the feet are playing a critical role in the complaint. Poor support for your feet can often lead to conditions like headaches, low back pain, pain in the hips and knees, sacroiliac joint pain, and short leg syndrome.

If feet are the chief complaint for pain, then we look for things like poor arch support, type of shoe, activity, and conditions like plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuroma, or bunions.

Take the Test

  1. Are you currently being treated for back, knee, hip, shoulder, or joint pain?
  2. Have you recently had an injury?
  3. Do you suffer from frequent headaches?
  4. Do you experience pain, discomfort, and/or swelling in the foot and/or ankle area?
  5. Do your ankles ever feel wobbly or unstable?
  6. Have you had multiple ankle sprains in your lifetime?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, it is time to talk to your doctor at Northern Nevada Chiropractic about our complimentary digital foot scanning and possible support.

Don’t Ignore Your Pain

Regardless of the pain showing up in feet or in other parts of the body as a result of issues with the feet, pain means the same thing: it is your body’s way of getting your attention and asking for help. As chiropractors, the doctors of Northern Nevada Chiropractic are trained to identify the root issues using their expertise and tools, such as the Foot Levelers orthotics systems.

Our doctors will take a 3D BodyView® scan of your feet to identify levels of asymmetry throughout your feet and body. The results and findings will be reviewed with you so you can discuss what they mean and the recommended course of treatment. If an imbalance is found, your doctor may recommend a custom Foot Levelers orthotic to reduce pain and improve performance. Talk to your doctor at Northern Nevada Chiropractic about our complimentary digital foot scan during your next visit.

How Foot Levelers Help

Foot Levelers’ individually designed functional orthotics help keep bones, tissues and ligaments of the feet aligned and stable, so they can support the body correctly. The 3D BodyView® scan identifies levels of asymmetry throughout your feet, illustrates how the feet impact your body posture, and the pain free scan takes just a minute. Functional orthotics can also:

  • Help retrain muscles and ligaments
  • Properly distribute weight and absorb shock
  • Lead to improved body function and movement

Foot Levelers orthotics also come in a variety of styles for men and women, so whether you need support in a work boot or a stiletto, your doctor can custom fit relief that aligns to your reality. Don’t suffer needlessly. Have your foot scanned at Northern Nevada Chiropractic to learn if custom orthotics can help.
