Supporting Northern Nevada

The Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation (NNCCF) has provided Help, Hope, and Courage to local families affected by childhood cancer since 2000. NNCCF is a nonprofit located in Reno, Nevada, providing services to all of northern Nevada including Carson City, Winnemucca, Elko, Incline Village, Tonopah, etc. It is the only nonprofit in the region solely dedicated to childhood cancer.

The mission of Nevada Storm Football is to provide women with the opportunity to play and compete at the top tier of tackle football preparing for international and national competition; while fostering an environment of good will and sportsmanship.

Since opening to the public in 2011, The Discovery has solidified its place in our region as the home for informal science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) learning. Through hands-on galleries and exhibitions, and a robust array of educational programs, The Discovery connects learners of all ages with opportunities to explore a wide variety of ever-changing topics, all designed to inspire curiosity and further investigation.

Galena High School challenges students to develop academic and career skills for post-high school options. At Galena they strive to be the best, and as always, “It’s Good to be a Grizzly!!!” NNC is proud to support the athletics programs at Galena High School.

Doral Academy of Northern Nevada (DANN) is dedicated to creating an enhanced and engaging whole-child educational experience. DANN will provide an academically rigorous learning environment with a strong emphasis on problem-based learning, arts integration, and social and emotional development. A collaborative effort, with all students, parents, and staff, will be devoted to establishing, achieving, and celebrating individual goals to prepare every student for college, career, and civic life.
