Spinal Decompression
Spinal Decompression Therapy has a very high success rate for pain associated with herniated or bulging discs. It is a non-surgical, decompression therapy for the relief of back and leg pain or neck and arm pain.
Chiropractic Care
As a drug-free, non-surgical treatment option, chiropractic care uses specific spinal manipulation to help improve overall body motion.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a highly effective treatment to improve range of motion, alleviate pain, relieve tension, and calm muscle spasms. It is different from acupuncture in that it focuses on the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular system.
Laser Therapy
Northern Nevada Chiropractic uses two types of laser therapy depending on the injury and needs of the patient. We have an hot laser from Aspen Laser Systems and a cold laser from MicroLight. Both are able to treat sports injuries, acute pain, and heal chronic injuries.
Muscle Scraping
Muscle Scraping (or IASTM) involves using a range of tools to enable clinicians to efficiently locate and treat individuals diagnosed with soft-tissue dysfunction. Typically a tapered edge stainless steel instrument is utilized. The Graston® Technique is one popular example of IASTM.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive modality that uses high-intensity acoustic shock waves directed into specific tissues to promote healing. Through induction of a safe amount of stress on the tissue, it helps break up scar tissue, improve microcirculation, and boost local metabolism.
Flexion Distraction
Flexion distraction is a chiropractic technique used to treat many conditions of the lumbar spine non-surgically.
Digital Foot Scan
A digital foot scan identifies levels of asymmetry throughout your feet and body. The results and findings will be reviewed with you so you can discuss what they mean and the recommended course of treatment.
Extremity Treatments
Chiropractic care for “extremities” references the numerous joints in the body including the jaw, shoulder, ribs, shoulder, wrist, elbows, fingers, hand, hip, ankle, knee, toes, and the foot.
Therapeutic Ultrasound
Ultrasound therapy is a proven technique to treat stiffness, swelling and pain in the back. After an ultrasound treatment, patients experience increased circulation and pain-free movement.
X-Rays
We use our state-of-the-art, hospital-quality digital x-ray to conclude a clear diagnosis before starting a treatment plan.
