Dr. James LoConte, DC
He was raised in south Australia until the age of 13 at which time his parents moved to Cupertino, CA to be closer to family.
Dr. Jim has been practicing Chiropractic for almost 25 years. He attended San Diego Sate University for two years then transferred to Calpoly-SLO earning a bachelors degree in Biology and Kinesiology. He attended chiropractic school at Palmer West in Sunnyvale, CA, graduating in 1993 with a degree in Chiropractic. During his last year in Chiropractic school he did an internship with Allen Cheng DC – the team chiropractor for the Oakland A’s.
After graduating, he began practicing in Los Altos, CA where he continues to work part time in addition to his Reno Chiropractic practice at Northern Nevada Chiropractic. Dr. Jim uses laser therapy on many of his patients to help heal tissues after injury or surgery. He is also certified in Dry Needling, which is a proven treatment technique to improve muscle, tendon, and connective tissue pain.
Dr. Jim moved to Reno in 2015 where he is able to enjoy his favorite activities of dirt bike riding, fishing, camping and boating with his wife and two kids.
