About Us
Dr. Caleb Mitchell, DC
Dr. Caleb Mitchell is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Mitchell’s passion for health and fitness led him to become a professional bodybuilder. It was at his first competition that he met a chiropractor who made him realize he could take his love of health and fitness and share it with others to positively impact their lives. Dr. Mitchell believes that movement is medicine, and his goal is to give patients the knowledge and tools to live happier, healthier lives.
Dr. Mitchell received his Bachelors in Biomedical Science from Northwest Missouri State University and went on to get his Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland University-Kansas City. As a chiropractor, his mission is to help patients live better lives without pain or limited mobility. While he does work extensively with athletes, he is just as passionate about helping patients succeed whose goals could be waking up without back pain, being able to pick up the grandkids without straining, or just getting rid of that neck pain from long days at the office.
Dr. Mitchell is in the process of becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and combines his passion for weightlifting and nutrition with his professional knowledge of the human musculoskeletal system. This approach to chiropractic allows him to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients, as well as at-home exercises and therapies to continue their healing outside of the office. Dr. Mitchell is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, and is an avid snowboarder and hiker who loves the outdoors and the lifestyle Reno-Tahoe provides.
ART Certified Reno Chiropractor
Dr. Mitchell is a certified provider of Active Release Techniques (ART). ART is a non-invasive treatment system precisely engineered to locate and quickly resolve soft-tissue disorders. It has been considered the gold standard in soft tissue care since 1984. If you are injured or hurting, you do not need to endure countless medical visits with minimal improvement, take on expensive and risky invasive procedures, or settle for “just living with” soft-tissue pain and disfunction. Instead, make ART your first choice for soft-tissue care.
Dr. Mitchell’s diagnostic process identifies aberrations in tissue texture, tension, and movement until he determines the root cause of your condition. Once identified, the condition is targeted by one or more ART treatment protocols, each combining precise touch with specific patient movements to restore proper function and relieve pain. Because the ART system is unique, the results are uncommon. There are no known negative side effects and most conditions, including strains, sprains, and other musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), are resolved in just five or fewer treatment sessions.
