At Home Exercises

Carpal Tunnel

There are several carpal tunnel treatments that will relieve the tingling and numbness and restore wrist and hand function. At Northern Nevada Chiropractic, we are able to successfully prescribe carpal tunnel treatments to get patients out of pain.

Lower Back Pain

The lumbar discs are vulnerable to much of the stress in the lumbar spine. Since they are at the bottom of the spine they bear all the weight of the structures above. Spinal stabilization muscles exist to keep the lower back upright and to keep the vertebra from slipping on top of one another.

Vertigo

Vertigo results in a loss of balance and can cause dizziness, nausea and injury. Vertigo is caused by disease affecting the inner ear or the vestibular nerve and can be debilitating or mild. These exercises help keep symptoms at bay.

Sports Injury

Sports injuries can effect the back as well as joints and extremities. Exercises can help strengthen the impacted area and prevent any further damage.

Muscle Stretching

Stretching large muscles can help prevent injury and increase your range of motion.

Muscle Strengthening

Especially after injury or muscle strain, it is important to work on the strengthening of muscles. This results in faster healing and prevention of future relapse.

Sciatica

Sciatica is caused by nerve depression of the largest nerve in the leg. The pain experienced with sciatica is as varied as the causes and intensity. In addition to chiropractic treatment, there are exercises that can be done at home to relieve symptoms.

Neck and Posture

Neck and spine alignment are critical for good posture. These videos show you how to maintain good alignment in your neck and back so that you have healthy posture and a healthy posterior chain.
